Privacy Policy

1. No account required
You do not need an account, an email address, or any login to browse CrystalDex or to submit an entry. We do not run a public sign-up. The only accounts that exist belong to site moderators.
2. What we collect on submission
When you submit settings, we store exactly what the form asks for: the in-game name, optional Minecraft UUID, kit categories, sensitivity, DPI, FOV, resource pack, Minecraft version, keybinds, notes, an optional social/Discord/YouTube link, and the time of submission. Do not put personal information (real names, addresses, emails, phone numbers) into the free-text fields; those fields are published publicly once approved.
3. How it's used
Submitted information is used for one purpose: displaying the public settings directory. It is reviewed by moderators before publication and may be edited for accuracy or formatting.
4. Skin renders
Player skin images are loaded from third-party Minecraft render services (such as mc-heads.net and crafatar.com) using the in-game name or UUID on the entry. Your browser contacts those services directly when a page loads; their own privacy practices apply to that request.
5. We don't sell your data
CrystalDex does not sell, rent or trade submitted data to third parties, and does not run advertising networks or third-party trackers.
6. Cookies and analytics
CrystalDex does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Moderator login uses a session token stored in the browser, and only for logged-in moderators. Basic, privacy-respecting analytics may be added later to measure page traffic in aggregate; if that happens this section will be updated before it goes live.
7. Removal requests
If an entry concerns you and you want it corrected or removed, use the form below or contact the moderators through the Discord. Take-down requests are treated as high priority — you do not need to prove ownership before we look at it, and you do not need an account.
8. Retention
Approved entries stay published until they are removed on request or by a moderator. Rejected submissions and resolved removal requests are kept only as long as needed for moderation history, and are deleted when they are no longer useful for that purpose.
9. Your rights
You can ask what information about you is stored, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted — including entries submitted about you by someone else. Use the form below or the Discord; no account and no proof of ownership is required to start the request.
10. Children
CrystalDex is a settings reference, not a social network, and it is not directed at children under 13. Do not submit personal information about yourself or anyone else, regardless of age.
11. Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above changes with it. For any privacy question, contact the moderators through the CrystalDex Discord linked in the site header.
Not your data?
Ask the moderators in the Discord to remove it. Handled as high priority.
